Dates Times and Locations

 Just Clowning Around- Performing skits and making animal shaped balloons for the children  11 am-1:30 pm Saturday at the Town Center.

 Wine Tasting – 11-5 Saturday and Sunday. Try the Valley’s fruit of the vine. Must show valid I.D. Ages 21 and over. $6.00 admission for the day. Includes a free wine glass.

 Miss Apple-Grape Harvest Pageant – Sunday 1PM at Town Hall. Ages 0-15. Enjoy the pageant as children compete for a title as one of the Apple-Grape Harvest Queens or Kings.

 BMW Car Show & European Car Cruise In – Saturday 10-5 at Lasting Impressions Landscaping Company (Just south of Food Lion Shopping Center) Join the fun, live entertainment and food and check out the beautiful European made cars in pristine condition. Sponsored by Lasting Impressions Landscaping, A New You Salon, E&E Auto Restoration, Holtzman Oil, and Bryce Resort,

 Antique Car & Truck Show- Sunday 9 am.-3 pm. Food Lion Shopping Center. Food 50’s and 60’s music and fun for all.  $8.00 entry fee per vehicle.  Proceeds benefit the Children’s Miracle Network. Dash plaques go to the first 100 entries. Drawing for prizes start at noon. Top twenty cars & trucks will receive a trophy. The Mayor will pick his top 2 choices at 2:00 pm and present the trophies.  50/50 Raffle and Chinese Auction.

 Pony Palace- Pony Rides Saturday 12-2 and Sunday 1-3 at the Town Center

 Apple/Pumpkin Flower Arrangements- The Flower Patch Saturday & Sunday 10-2. Stop in and make your very own original fresh pumpkin ($10) or apple ($5) flower arrangement. Great for a gift, or the perfect accent for the fall season.

 Wes Iseli Magic Show - Saturday 11 am. and 2:00 pm in the Town Hall. Sponsored by the Mt. Jackson Community Library.

 Apple Pie Baking Contest – Adults only Saturday 3:00 pm. Bring your pie to the Chamber information booth between 10 am. and 1 pm. Judging by local “pie tasters” Prizes for 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd places.

 Apple Product Baking Contest- Children 18 years and under. Saturday 1:00 pm. Make your favorite recipe which must include an apple item. Bring your entry to the Chamber information booth between 10 am. and 12:30. Prizes for 1^st 2^nd and 3^rd places.

 Apple Piñata – 3:00PM Sunday. Have your little ones test their skills and break the apple, then scramble to fill their goody bag with the “loot”.

 Pumpkin-Apple or Wine Bottle Decorating Contest- Use your imagination and paint your pumpkin, apple or wine bottle to enter the Mt. Jackson Apple Harvest Festival Decorating Contest. The contest will be held on Sunday October 12^th. Please have your decorated items at the Town Hall by 1 p.m. for judging at 2:00 pm. Prizes will be awarded in two age categories: 8 & under and 9-16 years of age.

 Mt. Jackson Garden Club- At the Episcopal Church. Dried flower arrangements, afghans and town replicas.
